An In-Depth Examination of How Herbal Breast Pills

Most studies and surveys conducted over that past few decades clearly indicate that men think that the breasts are the sexiest, most alluring part of the female body.

Breasts are the most popular part of a woman’s body and because of this many women want to find effective means for breast enlargement.

Although the fastest, most certain way for women to enlarge their breasts is by undergoing breast augmentation surgery, there are other proven ways to enhance the breasts naturally.

Several natural breast enlargement methods are proven by holistic, unique scientific theories and women have different results.

Some women have wonderful success and results when they try natural breast enlargement methods.

One of the most popular natural breast enlargement methods is herbal breast enhancement pills.

These supplements use herbs that have been proven after years of research effective for firming and enlarging breasts.

Many breast pills simulate the female hormones that are specifically responsible for breast growth.

Breast pills do not, in reality, produce the actual hormones such as estrogen and progesterone, but the body responds as if it does.

Many of the formulas for breast pills are based on human physiology and anatomy.

We studied how breast pills are effective for breast enhancement.

First of all, breasts are mainly composed of fat that is bound together by connective tissue, mammary glands, and lymph glands.

Mammary glands and lymph glands are very small and make up very little in the overall size and shape of the breasts.

When a woman breastfeeds, her breasts enlarge because the milk ducts in the breasts fill up with milk.

When she no longer breastfeeds, the breasts will return to their normal size and will not remain enlarged.

The connective tissue helps to provide breast shape and breast firmness.

Breast size and breast shape is mainly determined by the amount of hormones released during puberty.

These hormones control and determine the amount of fat deposited in the breasts during puberty.

Breast enlargement pills are formulated with potent herbs that imitate the effect of these hormones after a woman is past puberty.

The effect from using herbal breast pills is breast enhancement which is firming and strengthening of the connective tissue in the breasts, and breast enlargement which happens when the amount of fatty tissue increases in the breasts.

Herbal breast pills certainly seem like a logical choice for any woman who would like natural breast enhancement and breast enlargement.

We hope we have given you a clear explanation allowing you to have a deeper understanding about how breast pills work.

Hair Replacement and Human Hair

We hear it more and more often that the quality of the hair in the hair systems just isn’t what it used to be. The answer is simple--supply and demand.

The demand for human hair in the hair replacement industry started to really increase in the 1980’s and has been taken over by the hair extension industry in the late 90’s to the present.

It’s sort of like the oil situation we’re all experiencing.

When the demand goes up and the supply goes down the costs sky rocket for the best quality hair available.

In the hair replacement industry the wholesaler finds himself in a tough spot, do I increase my cost of goods for better quality and raise my prices or do I keep my prices where they are and take a lesser quality or do I take a lesser quality and raise my prices like everyone else?

Any of the above 3 may happen.

If your hair system is loosing hair quickly, tangling into a nest or drying out and becoming un-Styleable you aren’t alone.

Here’s what is going on. The old supplies of top quality human hair have been depleted for many years.

We saw an influx of hair during and after the ethnic wars of Eastern Europe.

(Yes, much of the hair supplied to the hair replacement industry does come from war torn areas and in most cases the hair is taken from the deceased or imprisoned to be sold to hair vendors.) The majority of the hair used in hair replacement production comes from India and China.

In India the hair is gathered from the temples where it is removed from the head for religious reasons and in China the hair is easily harvested in regions where girls grow their hair long and have it cut to sell.

With the increase in western influence in the world more and more women now cut and chemically process their hair and don’t rely on selling their tresses to help contribute to the family economy.

All these little changes will cause the decrease in human hair availability as the years go by.

The good news is that some very smart hair replacement manufacturers started several years ago experimenting with new high tech synthetic fibers.

The new synthetics that are in competition with human hair are primarily Nylon or Polyester fibers that have been developed to imitate human hair as closely as possible by having more light reflection due to artificial cuticle and a diameter that more closely resembles “European” human hair.

While it isn’t for everyone yet—it is fast becoming the favored blend with the existing human hair for hair replacements.

The synthetic fibers are stronger and have better color retention and will effectively buffer the poorer quality human hair it is blended with giving the hair wearer better style retention, color retention and less hair loss in their hair replacements.

If you’re experiencing less wear out of your hair replacement system, you may want to consider adding some of this High Tech fiber to your next system and get used to this new trend, after all it may be inevitable if we continue to use up the human hair sources at the rate we are currently going.

Remy Hair and your Hair Replacement: What are the

Remy Hair (also sometimes referred to as Remi hair) is one of the biggest buzz words in the hair industry today.

You’ve probably seen all kinds of hair replacement companies big and small touting their Remy hair pieces.

Some hair replacement vendors may have even talked you up about the benefits of Remy hair, but have you ever wondered exactly what it really is?

While there are several definitions flying around there is only one that remains constant, is simply and probably the truth.

Remy hair is human hair that is used in the production of hair pieces, wigs, hair extensions and a variety of hair goods products besides these.

The term Remy Hair is used on almost every hair goods product that is coming out of China, the biggest producer of hair goods in the world and rightfully so. Simply speaking Remy Hair is human hair that is ventilated, tied or sewn with the cuticle of the hair all going in the same direction.

The cuticle is the outer layer of the hair shaft and it is naturally a rough almost scaly surface.

In production of human hair for hair goods the cuticle is usually smoothed, coated or compressed to make it smooth so the scales cannot catch on each other causing the hair to tangle and mat. While this process works well the cuticle is still there and overtime it is possible for the cuticle to swell and open up making the hair venerable to tangling.

To help to assure the least amount of tangling the producers of hair goods make all efforts to keep the hair cuticles going in the same direction to minimize the chances of tangling and matting allowing the hair wearer to maintain the hair system with little problems and keeping the hair looking natural with good movement.

So in a nutshell, Remy hair is actually quite common throughout the hair replacement industry.

In most cases even when a hair replacement doesn’t advertise their hair as Remy, it probably is anyway.

The thing to remember is there isn’t anything particularly special about Remy hair – it’s the industry standard.

So be wary and stay away from companies who concentrate on touting the great benefits of Remy hair or who try to up sell you on expensive Remy products.

The fact is, Remy hair is not expensive to produce, and generally reputable suppliers will always offer this product.

If you’re searching for a new hair replacement company, don’t worry so much about finding a company that advertises their hair as Remy, instead concentrate on more important factors like overall quality and reputation of the vendor themselves.

Don’t be fooled by the oldest tricks and buzzwords in the hair replacement playbook.

Do your homework and spend the time to find a hair replacement supplier that will truly work for you!

Getting Your Hair Piece Cut In

Getting Your Hair Piece Cut In

With the advent of internet hair replacement companies the hair wearer has a veritable smorgasbord of options when it comes to buying hair and supplies.

This has been a God send to many with the economy in the dump and the increased cost to purchase a hair system from a brick and mortar store.

The big problem comes when the hair arrives and you need to get the system cut in. Most of the internet hair replacement companies offer a service to give your system a hair cut prior to sending it out but the problem comes with the finishing work.

The key to an undetectable hair system is the blending of the hair from the system into the growing hair and truthfully, without the head and growing hair under the system it is really guess work when it comes to this practice.

It isn’t a bad idea to think about this before you order your hair and have a plan.

Check with a stylist you know or a barber and see if they would provide this service to you for the price of a normal hair cut. Most hair replacement centers will request $150.00 and up to do a cut in on a piece purchased on line as the philosophy is if I screw it up I have to buy you a new one, others will send you on your way—they want you to buy from them.

Some savvy stylists will provide the service but have the customer sign a waver releasing them of responsibility if you’re not happy with the cut and this isn’t a bad idea to suggest if you’re met with a negative response from a hair replacement specialist.

More often than not a barber is a little more open for this job and may charge a little more but will willingly take on the project.

Your best bet is to have the system pre-cut from the supplier if you don’t have someone lined up. At least if you go into a barber or stylist with most of the work done they may be more open to working with you and in reality they do know how to do those little finishing touches that make your system undetectable.

Getting your hair piece cut in is a huge headache for many hair wearers, but it doesn’t have to be. Don’t be mislead that a professional hair replacement studio is your only option for getting your hair piece cut in!

There are many ways you can get a great cut and natural look for much less than the premium prices being charged by hair replacement professionals.

Barbers and salons have been cutting hair for years, and they can cut a hair piece with human hair in just as easily as they could cut your own growing hair, and the price difference can be huge!

Lace Wigs 101

Lace wigs and lace fronts are the hottest ticket out there.

Lace wigs were originally only found in the theatre, the silver screen or on those who had the connections to have one made for them.

Lace wigs and lace fronts have recently been seen on the streets since the popularity of some well seen celebrities who openly wear the wigs and lace front additions.

A lace wig is truly the ultimate for any wig wearer.

They are different from wigs as we generally know them because they are usually made or at least “tailored” to fit the individual.

A lace wig is made completely of a soft French or Swiss lace in several sections and the wig maker will take darts in the lace to make the material contour the head and because of this it is possible to get a glove tight fit for the wearer.

During the process of tailoring the wig base the wig maker will take into effect the finished hair style to be sure that the lace is place so the hair can be ventilated / tied into the base going in the correct direction for the finished style.

This is especially important in the top and frontal area as this is where the hair must flow naturally and the way the lace is configured hair direction will be affected if the lace is not placed correctly.

Once the wig maker has the cap completed they can do a final fitting to be sure the fit is correct and the front is smooth and tight.

If adjustments need to be done this is the time to do it and a final fitting can be done just to check.

Once the cap is finished the wig maker can now begin ventilating the hair into the base.

This is done with a hooked ventilating needle that can be gauged to pick up as many hairs as needed for a section of the wig. For example in the back and side areas the wig maker may use a needle that picks up 2 to 4 hairs for the knot.

This allows for volume without having to fill in quite so many holes in the lace.

The wig maker will usually start at the nape area and work up on the back of the wig followed by the sides and then working on the top. Once the wig maker gets to the top and front area they will usually switch their ventilating needle to only pick up one hair for each knot.

This allows the wig maker to make very small tight knots that are virtually impossible to be seen.

The real art for the wig maker is of course the frontal area.

The single hair knots, placement and hair direction has to look and move like natural hair and should not be noticeable to the eye. Once a lace wig is completed, dressed or styled and placed on the head a small amount of lace adhesive is placed on the skin where the edge of the lace will sit, allowed to get tacky and then the lace is pressed into the adhesive where it disappears into the skin.

Once the adhesive is completely dry normal daily make up can be applied and the wearer is ready to go.

Liquid Adhesive vs. Hair Piece Tape

Whether one chooses a liquid adhesive as opposed to a tape is truly a personal choice but it also has a great deal to do with the attachment wanted as well as the base material and often a combination of both tape and adhesive is used.

Generally speaking tape is used for daily wear if tape is being used as the only attachment method or in combination with hair clips.

Daily wear tapes are usually pretty aggressive and hold quickly but often will loose their strength by the end of the day—hence the name.

These tapes can be used on the perimeter tape tabs as well as the frontal area and are very effective as well as safe for skin contact.

There are also very good extended wear tapes that really give a good hold for up to 7 days and work very well for perimeter, frontal or even total head bonding.

This type of tape has a good hold for longer periods and does not breakdown quickly, it also is very good used on lace bases, fine welded mono and thin skin bases it is truly an all purpose type of tape with a good track record for hold.

If a hair wearer has problems with sensitive skin or is recovering from an outbreak due to a reaction to another tape or adhesive there is now available a tape that actually has a medicated factor that will help to heal the skin while giving the hair wearer a light hold.

Adhesives have long been the favorite for permanent attachments.

They can be latex based, resin based, silicone based or acrylic based and each has its own function, good qualities and bad qualities.

Latex adhesives aren’t used much these days.

The original latex adhesives were made with natural latex which is rubber.

This was an effective material but could often result in a toxic allergic reaction so the adhesives people have since replaced this with synthetic latex.

Latex is soft and pretty comfortable to wear but it can bleed when the wearer perspires with a milky appearance and is not so easy to get out of hair and base materials.

Resin based adhesives are softer and great for grafting where the system is completely adhered to the head.

Good quality resin based adhesives stay soft and pliable and by nature should absorb the body oils and perspiration during the duration of its hold.

The hold time for these products is about 21 days.

Silicone adhesives are the most costly but the safest for use on skin.

They are clear, stay soft and will work on many types of bases including lace.

The use of silicone adhesive on lace works well because it is water resistant affording a longer hold time, it dries clear and can’t be seen through the lace making it very popular among lace wearers and those with lace fronts.

Acrylic adhesives are hard drying but have the longest hold.

In the class of acrylics is “Crazy Glue” and we all know the type of hold you can get with that.

When using acrylic adhesives tape is also incorporated and is placed on the perimeter of a system to make clean up and removal easier but if the adhesive gets on the base or the hair it is impossible to get out.

The bottom line is that it will take a few tries for any hair wearer to find the right tape, adhesive or combination that will work for them.

Always be sure to test the adhesive or tape by placing a small amount behind your ear on the skin and wait 24 hours to be sure there is no negative reaction.

Removing Adhesive Residue from the Hair in System

Removing the adhesive residue from the hair of a hair system is incredibly important.

The adhesive in the hair can create a lot of stress and degradation to the hair knots as well as to the integrity of the base material.

When cleaning a system or lace front always try to have the most refined natural solvent or removal available.

The most common cleaners on the market are citrus based but have a yellow or orange appearance.

Your best choice cost a bit more but is well worth it in the maintenance of your hair system.

The base as well as the hairs are better protected with a refined remover such as Adhesio™ Adhesive Cleaner.

You’ll know it’s the most refined by its crystal clear appearance.

Apply Adhesio™ Adhesive Cleaner to a cotton pad or swab, apply to the tape or adhesive area and allow to work.

When the adhesive is loosened gently remove the system from your head.

Apply additional Adhesio™ Adhesive Cleaner to the adhesive or tape and allow the cleaner to work.

Gently remove the tape.

With tape or adhesive you will notice that the residue is beginning to break down and coagulate.

You can use a soft wash cloth or soft bristle brush to work the residue off the lace or base material and into the hair.

Once the residue is in the hair it can easily be combed out of the hair with a fine tooth comb then washed as usual until all oil and adhesive residue have been removed from the hair.

It may be necessary to wash the hair two or three times but it is important to get all adhesive and solvent residues from the hair, base material and tape tab areas.

Once the hair is completely cleansed of any residue apply a gentle leave in conditioner to the hair and allow the hair to air dry. If you should find any area where there appears to be residue or oil it is advised to repeat the process again.

It is advisable to concentrate on only those areas that need attention and avoid areas where the hair is clean.

Rinse the entire system apply leave in conditioner and allow to air dry.

It may seem like a lot to do but it is wise to understand that the alternative is hair loss, scalp irritation and the breakdown of your systems base.

Whenever residue is left in the hair it always settles in the knots and the base material.

The combination of products and chemicals with body oils and acids will most definitely cause break down in your system and hair.

A few simple tips to remember:

Whenever possible dilute your shampoo and conditioner.

Wash rinse and repeat—at least once or twice—this isn’t your head this is a textile and hair or fiber that are not a part of you other than their attached for a period of time to you head.

Rinse, Rinse, Rinse and Rinse some more.

The longer you rinse the more residue and body fluids you’ll remove and the cleaner your system.

Finally, consider an additional system to rotate for the best possible hygiene.

French Top Wigs Deciding Whats Right for You

French top wigs are a definite throw back but are making a huge come back as the manufacturers have figured out how to make them faster and more economically than in the past.

A French top wig is basically a machine or hand tied wig with a special French top added.

The French top has an esthetically pleasing appearance that literally looks as though hair is coming straight from the scalp.

The French Top consists of several layers of material with the top layer being a synthetic silk type material that has the appearance of skin because of its tight weave.

The hair is ventilated / tied into a lower layer and the hair is pulled through the top layer of synthetic silk one hair at a time for a truly natural appearance.

Another method has the hair injected into the synthetic silk, one hair at a time, and then the hair is laminated to the underside of the lace using a soft adhesive material that will not bleed through the material and will allow the hair to move naturally on the head.

The French Top is then connected to the balance of the wig and finished off for a smooth natural appearance.

The French Top can also be downsized to just a part area but the technique has not been done for entire wig as the hair does come straight out of the material and would not lay down correctly on the sides and back.

The French Top and Part has been around for many years and they were originally made by wig makers only.

The technique has been done in mass production but the intricacies of the work prohibited it from being done in mass.

The French Tops and Parts are all strictly hand made one at a time.

Recently we have see the French Tops showing up in the Jewish market for the wigs worn by the Orthodox and Hasidic Jewish women who by tradition and for religious reasons always have their heads covered.

There are few wig makers who still work making the French tops and parts but those that do are not at a loss for work.

The single hand made French top is still a beautiful work of art and the person who has the honor of owning and wearing one will proudly admit what it is if asked.

For the rest of us, we may need to stick to the ready made wig with the French Top or Part added and the consumer will know it as soon as they see it. You cannot believe how realistic the French Top and Part can be and with the new techniques and materials they are not only lovely to look at but extremely comfortable on the scalp with the smooth silk like underlay which is some times finished with a quilted effect.

Look for this in a top quality wig shop and note the fine workmanship and usually very good quality hair that is used for the wig. This is the ultimate for any wig wearer.

How long do hair replacement systems last?

How long do hair replacement systems last?

The longevity of a hair piece is based on several factors:

the materials it’s made from, the care it is given and the physiology and life style of the hair wearer.

A hair replacement system can last anywhere from 1 or two weeks to many years.

Quality and maintenance are two key overall determining factors in the overall longevity of your hair piece.

These are careful things to take into account when shopping for a hair replacement.

It makes sense that a hair piece made with light weight lace material would not hold up as long as one made of a polyester mesh so therefore the base material is critical in calculating the longevity of a hair piece.

While lace is wonderful for a natural appearance and light weight hair piece its delicate nature can cause it to be easily torn and even deteriorated over time.

A polyester mesh is a durable yet light weight material that resists dirt and oils, is easily cleaned and not easily torn.

Another big factor is the physiology and life style of the hair wearer.

If a person perspires heavily from the head, works out often, gets dirty in their work or has excessive oil production of the skin this can be very detrimental to the longevity of a hair piece.

Body oil and perspiration can cause the base material of a hair piece to degrade if not cleaned properly and often.

In the case of nylon bases and lace materials the body secretions can get trapped in the fibers and literally rot the material.

These secretions can also get trapped in the knots of the hair and can also cause them to rot as well so it is important to clean hair pieces well and rinse all cleaning and conditioning residue from the hair and base.

With proper care and cleaning there is no reason for a hair piece to last as long as the wearer wants it to last, though there may be the need from time to time to have hair added to a system and an occasional base repair or replaced tape tab, with the right materials and care any hair piece can last forever.

Basically if you buy a cheap hair piece or disposable hair piece, even with diligent cleaning practice, you’ll likely still have to replace it after some months.

Generally if you spend the time and money to get a good quality custom hair replacement system, you should be able to make it last pretty much as long as you want it to. You can also talk to your hair replacement company about different base material options that will provide a more durable option for extended use. With a little TLC you can make the right hair last for years!

How to Apply a Hair Piece

The proper application of a hair replacement system is very important.

If the system isn’t properly place the hair wearer may find the system uncomfortable and un-Styleable.

First it is important to have all your products readily at hand and of course a mirror will be necessary.

Be sure that your system as well as your scalp is absolutely clean and free from dirt and oil and both your head and system should be dry. For the benefit of your skin it is recommended that you apply a skin cleaner to remove any additional oil on the scalp and if available apply a thin layer of Scalp Prep to protect your scalp after the system is on. If you’re wearing a tape on system, wipe the tape tab area with some 99% alcohol to assure there is no residue or oil on the tape tab area.

Apply your tape, lifting the liner in areas where you’re overlapping strips.

Once your tape is in place remove the liner.

Have your existing hair clean dry and styled then pick up your system holding the front towards you with the back away from you and have the base inverted.

Inverting the base will keep the hair from getting on the tape.

Locate the center front of you hair line and gently place the front of the system at this point then gently roll the system back into place on your scalp.

Check your placement and if your happy with it press the tape onto your scalp.

If you find you are a little crooked with your placement gently pull the system off going from back to front, readjust the placement and repeat the procedure.

Once the system is in place style the hair into your existing hair and you should be ready to go. After a few tries this action becomes second nature.

If you’re using a full head bond you are probably using an adhesive so your preparation will be slightly different.

Again, it is important to have system, hair and scalp completely clean and free from dirt and oil. It is particularly important to prepare the scalp utilizing a scalp cleaner and scalp prep.

The cleaner has an astringent value that will close the pores and the scalp prep will coat the skin on the scalp to keep potential bacteria from making it’s way into the skin.

If you’re wearing a skin system, wipe the base with 99% alcohol and allow to completely dry. Once the base is dry apply a thin layer of your adhesive and allow the adhesive to get slightly tacky.

Apply a thin layer of adhesive to your scalp and also allow the adhesive to get slightly tacky.

Once the scalp and base are ready follow the directions above for applying the system.

It is very important with a full head bond to do this procedure correctly the first time.

As you roll the system back onto your scalp press is gently down to eliminate any bubbles or wrinkles.

Once you have the system on and in place gently press the entire system allowing the adhesive on the base and scalp to bond together.

If you’re doing a full head bond with lace, follow the same procedure only eliminate putting the adhesive on the base of the system and apply two thin layers of the adhesive to the scalp allowing the first to dry before applying the second layer and letting the second layer get tacky, then apply the lace system to the head in the same manner as the skin.

Clip On Hair Replacement: Are Clips Better Than Ad

There is no doubt that the debate about Clip on hair replacement systems and Adhesives has been ongoing for some time.

The reality is that there are positives and negatives to both but whether one is better than another is totally based on personal choice.

Many hair replacement wearers prefer the ease of use and fairly low amount of cleanup and maintenance that comes with wearing hair clips.

On the other hand, tape and adhesives have a variety of benefits that make them a very popular choice amongst all hair wearers.

Read on for more differences between clip on hair replacement systems and adhesives for hair replacement systems.

Initially both Clips and Adhesives have been used and often a combination of both.

The positive sides to clips are:

ease of application, no mess, ease of removal and increased longevity of the system itself and the freedom to wear hair whenever it is desired.

With adhesives you have perimeter attachment with no gaps, a sense of security perhaps and smoother transition from the hair system to growing hair.

Both methods also have their down sides as well.

Clips, if not moved occasionally on the base of the system can cause traction alopecia and also hair loss due to the tension of the clip in the same location.

The hair loss is most often irreversible.

This is one thing that is sure to deter many hair wearers from using clips, and a main reason why adhesive bonding has become such a popular solution for hair piece attachment.

Adhesives can create dermatological problems for the wearer including open sores, rashes and extreme itching and irritation.

It may take several tries with different adhesives to find the one that’s right for you. The good news about hair piece tape and adhesives is that there is such a diverse selection of products available, you’re sure to find something that will suit your own situation well as long as you take the time to look.

Clips, on the other hand, are pretty straightforward.

All you really need to do is determine the size of the clips that you need, and the color.

Generally clips come in metallic, black, brown and blonde colors.

The bottom line, it is a personal choice made by each hair wearer but rest assured both are viable and reliable methods of attachment of a hair system.

If you’re still not sure which kind of attachment method is best for you, contact your hair replacement company and discuss your options with them.

If you’re still unsure, get a second opinion.

There are many hair replacement companies that will be happy to take your calls and emails and answer any questions you may have regarding your hair replacement situation.

Coloring Your Human Hair Replacement System

The topic of coloring of hair replacement systems can cause a bit of debate among professionals and hair wearers doing the job at home.

First and foremost it is important to know what you’re dealing with—the reality.

Human hair for use in hair replacement systems 99.9% of the time is of Chinese or Indian origin.

The hair is gathered and put in bulk into vats for processing.

The processing includes compression of the cuticle (the rough outer edge of the hair shaft) and bleaching.

There are literally millions of hairs from thousands of heads blended together in these processes so with each hair system there is no consistency to begin with regarding the personality of the hair.

Once the Black hair is bleached down to accept dye for the variety of hair colors, it is dyed again in bulk in vats using TEXTILE dyes.

This makes it so unlike our own growing hair right there.

The hair has now gone through two pretty serious chemical treatments and color processing with textile dye. If the factory runs low on a color, they will often have to take a color that they have quantity of, strip the color and re-dye the hair to meet production requirements, now you’ve added two more chemical treatments and the hair still has to be permed to accommodate movement of curl.

When the consumer uses over the counter hair coloring products they will sometimes have success.

The hair can NEVER be bleached as it will turn green or orange and often will not take any additional hair color that is applied.

The point to remember is that this is not like the hair growing on your head.

You don’t really know how much chemical processing has been done to the hair before it lands on your head and the results can be disastrous.

It is suggested that whenever applying hair color, test a small section of the hair first, take your time, always go with a color slightly lighter than the color you want, you can’t lighten your system and the hair in your system will take the color quickly and darker than you might expect.

Of course, the best solution to the hair replacement coloring problem is simply to ensure that the color of your hair piece is a good match with your own natural hair color.

Fiber Hair Replacement: The Next Generation in Hai

For many years synthetic fibers were the mainstay of the hair replacement industry.

In the 1980’s the trend started to shift to human hair for hair systems and the demand started.

In the 1990’s we began to see a huge trend for human hair for hair extensions and as that demand grew into the 21st century the supply began to wane.

With the huge demand for more and more quality human hair there will come a time very soon that we will see the use of synthetic fibers for hair replacements and extensions.

Fortunately there have been huge technological improvements in the development of synthetic fibers specifically for the hair replacement industry.

The newest High Tech fibers being used have been in the developmental stages for over 10 years and are now being used quite widely in the men’s hair replacement and ladies wig production.

The High Tech fibers are significantly different from their mod acrylic counterparts with features that make them very palatable for the consumer and stylist friendly.

These new fibers are generally nylon or polyester based products.

They are stronger than mod acrylic fibers and have a much higher heat retention meaning they can now be styled with thermal styling tools without the fear of melting or frizzing.

The heat retention also affords the fiber to better maintain its curl pattern and in most cases the hair replacement systems made with these fibers can hold up for extended periods of time and maintain a fresh look.

While the base of the hair system might break down and fall apart, the fiber/hair still looks brand new.

There is no doubt that with the increase in demand for human hair and the quickly dwindling supply the new High Tech fibers will become the only way to go. Thanks to the advances in science and technology, new hair products are always being developed and their quality and usefulness is growing rapidly.

Just a few years ago, fiber hair replacement was just beginning to take shape, and in just a short time it’s quickly becoming a standard in the hair replacement industry.

It’s also replacing old synthetic hair that was very commonly used in hair replacement systems for many years.

Older synthetic hair looks and feels much less “human” than newer advanced fibers.

It can often be bristly and scratchy in texture and some hair wearers find it quite uncomfortable.

There’s a very strong likely hood that newer synthetic fiber hair will supplant human hair as the “go-to” option for hair replacement in the coming years due to its amazingly human quality and extreme durability.

A move to fiber hair in hair pieces could ultimately lead to longer lasting and more natural looking hair replacement solutions and quite possibly lower the overall hair replacement costs consumers are faced with.

What do the best hair replacement companies have

What do the best hair replacement companies have in common?

There are several things that can determine what makes any hair replacement company one of the best, but the reality is that it is no different for hair replacement companies than it is for any company providing a product or service.

Years in service; while more years doesn’t necessarily mean better there is something to be said for the experience of the people you’re working with.

Many companies can be old in years but have a staff that is young and may not have the practical experience needed to answer questions backed up with facts.

If you have the opportunity to chat with someone from the company you’re looking to do business with, have questions handy to ask that perhaps you know the answers to and see if they can answer your questions clearly and if they can’t take note if they refer your question to someone with more experience and don’t be afraid to ask the rep their background.

Customer service; how does the company handle a problem?

If they go the extra mile to satisfy you and make sure to keep your business why would you want to go anywhere else?

If they leave you to your problem, “you bought it, it’s yours”, odds are they aren’t capable or willing to make sure you’re satisfied.

Consistent Quality Products; a good company will have a variety of products to offer of the best possible quality available.

Be concerned about huge price differences for products that appear to be the same.

Sometimes products look alike but the performance is what really matters and you can be spending more than necessary trying the lower priced item then finding you need to spend more to get what you want and you’ve now paid double.

Do your homework, listen to your gut and get referrals from friends and family if possible.

Choosing the Right Body wave for your hair piece

Choosing the correct wave or curl pattern for your system can be very confusing especially if you’re attempting to order a hair system without the help of a salon professional.

Generally speaking we all have a certain amount of wave or movement to our hair.

There are exceptions of course but those who have stick straight hair know who they are and there choice becomes an easy one. For the rest of us it can be a big question.

If you have considerably straight hair but your hair gets a little wavy in humid conditions or has some bounce to it when air dried then you will usually fall into the “Body Wave” or “Natural Wave” category.

This is a safe bet for most people as it does give the hair wearer the option for soft natural movement or the ability to restyle the hair with the use of thermal styling tools such as blow dryers and hot irons.

Once you start looking at your hair as having “Curl” it becomes more difficult to make the determination.

If you have a definite curl to your hair there are two ways to get a good idea of the curl pattern required.

The first and easiest is to simply cut a complete curl, tape it to a piece of paper or an index card and send it along with your order.

Usually the person who edits your hair order will be able to determine the size of the curl required for your hair system.

The other way is to have someone take a ruler or tape measure and take a measurement of the inside of a curl and record the measurement the technician taking care of your order can then convert this into the centimeter size that the factory would need to use to create the curl required for your particular order.

Cleaning Hair Pieces: 5 Tips You Should Know

1. Always use solvent to loosen tape or adhesives before removing your system for cleaning.

2. Clean any and all tape or adhesive residue from the base, tape tab areas and hair in your system.

Use a good quality solvent, a natural citrus oil based product is best, and gently loosen any residue.

You may want to use a soft tooth brush to help remove residue in the hair and base material.

3. Use that same soft tooth brush to gently scrub the base material of your system anywhere you find any build of dirt or body oil and dandruff that can get trapped in the fibers of the material.

4. Use warm water and diluted shampoo to lather your system.

By diluting the shampoo you will find the soap rinses easily and more completely from the base and hair.

Wash the system several times if necessary.

If you have a build up of product such as hair spray or gel on the hair, you can let the system soak in a basin of warm water with baking soda added.

Swish the system several times through this solution and the mild abrasive nature of the baking soda should remove the build up.

5. Always rinse your system well.

Several minutes under a gently stream of warm water should do it but if you find the system is still a little dirty or oily shampoo the system again and when your rinsing hold the system by the front edge and let the water rinse through the base and keep the stream of water going in the same direction front to back so the hair does not back up into the base.

What's The Difference Between Lace Adhesive and St

There are many types of adhesives on the market for the hair replacement wearer so choosing the right one can be confusing at best.

With lace adhesives you will usually find that the material is somewhat lighter than adhesives for base attachment.

They are usually resin based and the viscosity is varied depending on the amount of solvent they contain.

Lace adhesives are intended specifically for lace application they are softer and more pliable and would probably not be as effective for attaching a base.

Standard adhesives for base attachment and perimeter bonding are usually acrylic based adhesives.

They dry harder than lace adhesives and generally have a much stronger hold.

There are also white adhesives that will work for both lace and base attachment.

The white adhesives can be either natural latex or synthetic latex.

The white adhesives go on the skin or base white but dry clear when they are ready for attachment.

The important thing to remember with any adhesive is that not all adhesives work for everyone.

First be sure the adhesive you choose is safe for skin contact and it is always best to test the adhesive on your skin before doing a full application.

To do a skin test, simply apply a small amount of adhesive behind your ear on your skin.

You will want to leave it there for at least 24 hours.

If the adhesive is safe for you to use you should not experience any discomfort, itching or rash.

If a rash occurs that adhesive is not for you.

Safe Application and Removal of Hair Piece Glue

For the best result when applying and removing glue or adhesive from a hair system it is best to be organized and to not rush.

When applying adhesive to the base or tape tab of a hair system the area where the adhesive is to be applied must be clean and free of any oil. It helps to use a cotton ball and wipe the area with 99% alcohol and let the alcohol dry completely before any application.

If you’re applying adhesive to a tape tab it can be advantageous to first put down a layer of tape.

The tape will help to protect the tab and will make clean up easier.

Be aware that some tapes and adhesives when used together can produce a chemical gas that could possible cause irritation to the scalp.

Only use tapes and adhesives that are safe for skin contact.

Once the tape has been applied you can begin applying the adhesive.

Using a brush apply a thin layer of adhesive to the tape and try to avoid the area right on the edge of the tape.

You want to avoid getting the adhesive on the base material as it will affect the hair and could create a greater clean up issue.

If you leave a little area on either side of the tape, this area will still get adhesive once you put the system on and press the perimeter onto your head.

If you use too much adhesive it can very possible bleed past the tape and get into the hair and base of the system.

If applying adhesive for a lace front the adhesive should be put directly on the skin where the lace will lay, allowed to get tacky then the lace can be pressed into the adhesive and set using a piece of nylon stocking.

When removing adhesive always use a good quality solvent.

Apply the solvent to the adhesive area and allow it to sit for a few minutes to loosen the adhesion.

Then you simply remove the tape from the tape tab or gently lift the lace from the skin.

The solvent can then be used in a small amount to release any adhesive that may be on the base or in the hair.

Once the adhesive is completely removed the system should be washed and conditioned and allowed to air dry. Be sure to use the alcohol on the tape tab area before re-applying tape or adhesive as there may be residue from the conditioner on the tab.

Are Ready Made Hair Systems Better than Custom Hai

Are Ready Made Hair Systems Better than Custom Hair Systems?

There isn’t anything technically different between a custom made and a ready made hair system; the materials are all the same the biggest difference is consistency.

Custom made hair replacement systems are one of a kind.

There isn’t anything technically different between a custom made and a ready made hair system; the materials are all the same the biggest difference is consistency.

Custom made hair replacement systems are one of a kind.

They are made to the specifications of one individual and are unique in the respect.

Ready made or stock hair replacement systems have the advantage of being as consistent as any man made product could be. While the custom systems are always changing the ready made hair systems are always the same.

In the production of hair systems most factories love doing stock.

The base materials are all predetermined as is the density, hair colors and the ventilation of the hair.

Basically there are no surprises for the workers and that also adds to the consistency.

This doesn’t make a ready made system better than a custom system only easier for the factory.

The advantages of custom hair systems are based on each individual order meaning that they are truly customized for that particular persons order.

With a custom system there are more options for the hair wearer.

You have the choice of materials which when coordinated correctly can accommodate each individual’s lifestyle requirements and there is a huge advantage to having the hair for the system custom blended to match the wearers hair exactly.

With a custom system you also have the benefit of a more exact fit which for many is necessary.

Ready made hair systems come in a specific size and fit a standard head size and shape.

With a custom system any size and shape of head can be dealt with and the end result is a good fitting natural looking hair replacement system.

Custom Hair Replacement:

Custom Hair Replacement:

When is it Time to Move Out of Stock Hair?

Custom hair replacement and stock hair replacement; sometimes it can be difficult to decide which type of hair replacement will best suit you. There are many differences between the two. People are always attracted to stock hair replacement because of the low cost and quick delivery time.

They also like the feeling of not having as many “strings attached” to their hair replacement.

For example if a stock hair replacement gets torn or badly tangled, or hair begins to fall out, the hair wearer at least has the option of simply discarding the hair piece and purchasing another one.

Those are all benefits of stock hair replacement.

Of course there are disadvantages as well.

Stock hair replacement systems can often be very poor quality which causes them to break down quickly and can ultimately cost the consumer even more money over time as they may have to replace their hair system frequently.

Another issue is appearance.

While stock hair replacement systems are designed to look great on the majority of consumers, for some people it just won’t be a 100% fit. This is a situation when custom hair replacement becomes a more viable option.

The great thing about custom hair replacement is that the customer can have it exactly how they want it. If they want a system that will last for 3 years, it can be done.

If they want a system that uses the finest lace in the world, it can be done.

If they want 100% virgin hair, it can be done.

So really with custom hair replacement, the ball is in the court of the consumer so to speak.

If you’ve found that your frequently compromising appearance, size or comfort with your hair replacement, it may be time to consider going custom.

Although it may cost more up front, and take longer to produce, with a full custom hair replacement you’ll be sure to have a hair system that looks and feels 100% natural – assuming you’ve found a good hair replacement company… But that’s another story!
